LSU falls to Penn State, 19-17
The LSU Tigers were involved in yet another close game, and this one didn’t go their way.
LSU lost to Penn State, 19-17, in an extremely close Capital One Bowl that typified the kind of season the Tigers have had.
The Tigers fell behind early in the game and went into halftime trailing 13-3. However, as they have done all season, they rallied back in the second half and nearly pulled out a victory.
I’m sure head coach Les Miles is feeling some pressure after yet another close loss for his team.
Quarterback Jordan Jefferson threw for 202 yards and a touchdown and an interception as he continues to try and develop into the team’s next star at the position.
Wide receiver Brandon Lefell led the team with five catches for 87 yards and a touchdown. The Tigers will most certainly miss his game-breaking ability next season.
